about

Sales of the bands first album were disappointing, despite great reviews, but none the less they moved onwards...slowly and quietly of course. Many of the band's shows were often ruined by chattering people in audiences and the band still refused to turn the volume up. But the ones where people shut up and watched were nothing short of thrilling. 'Co-Incidental Music' was thrown together (but with great care) from a number of odds and ends the band had been working on without any real plan of an 'actual album' in mind. There are a number of obvious clues all over this album pointing to certain band members frames of mind at the time, and a number of clues linking them to their previous band Beatnik Filmstars. However this album was a far easier listen and made it simpler for people to connect with the bands' sound. More 'instant'. Again it picked up promising reviews ; ('Angst, Loops and Introspection - call it the Jesus & Mary Chain's Kid A' - Venue) But once again it failed to attract the attention of the music buying general public.
